Abstract
In order to reveal the vibration propagation phenomena in systems consisting of coupled structures with large dynamic stiffness differences, we propose a modal energy propagation analysis method that evaluates the vibration power flow between eigen modes. This method can extract modes with high contribution to the vibration power flow. In this report, we present the results of applying this method to a coupled system of a car body and trim part and verifying its validity.
