Abstract
The effects of amplitude and frequency on purification characteristics were investigated using a perturbation technique that switches between rich and lean at high speeds. It is thought that increasing the amplitude increased the amount of oxygen inflow, reducing the amount of available sites and decreasing the purification rate. It is also thought that increasing the frequency kept the amount of free sites high and reduced the amount of slip of the three chemical species.
