Abstract
The matrix-based methodology "Design Structure Matrix (DSM)" which enables to evaluate dismantling performance of automotive structures is introduced. After the component of DSM and the numerical operation of its elements to make the evaluation graph shall be explained, the systematic scheme of matrix re-ordering and expressions of order constraint would be proposed. Finally, practical dismantling example of automotive door structure with modular design shall make us convinced that the DSM is reasonable and intuitionally comprehensible tools.
