- Measurement and Modeling of CO₂ Adsorption Characteristics -

Abstract

A technology that captures CO₂ in engine exhaust gas has been studied. From the viewpoint of efficient development, it is useful to consider a CO₂ capture system using models. Therefore, based on the experimental results of CO₂ adsorption characteristics, the model accounting for external film diffusion and intraparticle diffusion was considered. As a result, the adsorption rate model that can reproduce the experimental CO₂ breakthrough curves was established.
