Abstract
This report analyzes the effects of coupled roll and planar motions as well as the impact of the initial alignment effect. The findings indicate that, in the small steering angle range, the friction force tends to resemble the behavior predicted by a planar model due to the interaction between roll and planar dynamics. Additionally, the initial alignment effect becomes more pronounced when the friction force is biased toward the rear wheels.
