Continuously a previous report, the deposit characteritics of charged oil droplets which were sprayed with Electrodyn were measured to evaluate the effects on deposit of horizontal and vertical overlap arrangements or intervals of aluminium sampling pieces, the deposit densities of electrostatic spray on two types of model plant were compared with those of water mixed with dye (Direct-Scarlet 5g/l) by use of conventional power sprayer.
In the next place, deposit characteristics at electrostatic spray on potted plants were investigated, and these results were studied with refer to data of previous report. Moreover, in order to compare the drift characteristics of charged droplets of electrostatic spray with those of conventional power spray, two types of short and long wind tunnel were used and tested. Electrostatic atomizing characteristics at use of an electrolyte (Direct-Scarlet solution) as spray liquid of Electrodyn were tested and discussed.
