Abstract

In the Part I of this series of study, a fruit detecting experiment by visual feedback and a computer simulation by method of detecting by visual sensor moving toward fruit were done and the calculation accuracy was investigated. From these results, it was considered that if these methods were used not independently but together to make use of each characteristic, they could become effective.
In this paper, the characteristics of both methods and a method of combinaton both methods were investigated and the effectiveness was proved by a computer simulation and an experiment using a telescopic arm.
