Abstract

It has been necessary to establish the evaluation technology on the reliability of agricultural tractors, and a Field Simulation System to evaluate the durability of agricultural tractors was developed. It consists of a load simulation system for PTO (power take-off) shaft and a road-load simulation system. Experimental studies on the PTO load simulation system proved the possibility of laboratory simulation by using actual load data. The system includes the analysis of torque and revolution frequency and the modification (editing) of load pattern (actual data). Experimental studies on the road-load simulation proved that, with the utilization of the “remote parameter control” method, it is possible to obtain excellent results when working with servo-hydraulic test system. Some factors affecting the simulation processes, which are different by tractors, are also shown.
