Abstract
A saw-toothed seed accelerating disk and the disk case were redesigned and the necessity of the second brush on a seed feeding roll was tested to improve the form of hill-seeded spot, one of the seeding accuracy of shooting hill-seeder of rice combined with a paddy harrow. It proved to be important to minimize spatial range of seeds dropped from a seed feeding roll and seed rebound rate from a saw-toothed seed accelerating disk to decrease the size of a hill-seeded spot. The former and the latter improvement resulted that the form of hill-seeded spot became 6.4cm from 9.7cm and the rate of hill-seeded spot of 10cm or less became 92% from 55%.
