Abstract

100% biodiesel made by waste cooking oil was used to study the influence of long time usage under daylight hot condition with an agricultural diesel engine and compared to the case of diesel fuel.
Specific fuel consumption of every biodiesel have higher than the diesel, however when consider fuel conversion efficiency, all of fuels have not significantly different because of their heating value. But used biodiesels except biodiesel initial (without exposure) made higher PM than the diesel, and the biodiesel caused white deposit on the wall of swirl chamber outlet. It is supposed to be uncompleted burning.
