Abstract

 A prototype hammer knife remote-controlled mower was developed that can mow weeds that grow over 1 m on steep slopes. The working efficiency of the prototype mower was twice that of a commercially available remote-controlled mower and 2.6 times that of a walking-type mower. The prototype was twice as efficient as a brush cutter in a flat field with a cluster of tall golden rods.
