A novel and dynamic imaging system based on a laser speckle technique was developed for the sex prediction of chicken (Layer) embryos during early incubation. This system visualizes particle movements in the blood vessels of the embryo and yolk of the egg from the analyzed values obtained. Moreover, interference from mottled patterns, which is known as a texture on the eggshell was minimized, resulting in clearer blood vessel images. These images enable sharper temporal speckle intensity variations to be identified, which can then be used for non-destructive sex prediction of embryo during early incubation.
