Abstract
As slow released anticancer drug a needle 5Fu-PGA and MMC-PGA were prepared. High polymerized PGA (hi PGA) and low polymerized PGA (low PGA) were made. 5Fu-hi PGA had slower release rate of drug (5Fu) than 5Fu-low. PGA. And the 5Fu-PGA needle of low concentration of drug had slower release rate of drug. AH130 (1×107/0.1ml) was innoculated into the subcutaneous tissue of male Donryu rate of 5 weeks old. 7 days after, we buried 30% 5Fu-hi PGA needles, 1.5mm in diameter and 1cm in length, into the tumor. Then this 5Fu-PGA needle was markedly effective against AH130. This 5Fu-PGA needle is recommended in order to achieve prolongation of life for inoperable patients.
