Abstract

For the evaluation of plasma separators, the clearance, Ks, can be regarded as a measure of efficiency and expressed as: Ks=Qf·Sc where Qf is the plasma filtration rate, and Sc is the sieving coefficient. With this parameter, newly developed POLYETHYLENE hollow fiber plasma separator has been evaluated and shown to be one of the best filters.
