Abstract
We utilized ‘Nacl-glycine.precipitation method’ to remove immunosuppressive factors from cancer patients by use of modification of plasmapheresis system. The plasma was separated by a diacetate cellulose membrane and collected with 750 grams of Hadl and 450 grams of glycine in a plastic bag, and the bag was stored in 4°C for three nights. The precipitation was removed by a filter membrane, and satulated Nacl and glycine was removed by H. D. In the first treatment, 5% Alubumin solution was used as replacement fluid and from second treatment, manipulated own plasma was used as replacement fluid. In this method, removal of globulin fraction, mainly IgG, was significant however removal of Alubimin was minimum. Using of inhibition of normal human lymphocytes blastgenesis to PHA, we assure that the precipitation contains immunosuppressive factors. We treated eight cancer patients and there were improvement in general conditions in four patients, however tumoricidal effect observed in one patient. Removal of immunosuppressive factors from cancer patients is essential and an appropriate combination therapy may be needed to achieve effective result.
