NEW AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEM IN TOTAL ARTIFICIAL HEART

Abstract

New system consists of 2 parts, 1 is the timing control unit which turn the solenoid valve on or off in responce to the distance between the housing and the chamber wall. 2 is the air-pressure regulator controlled by the microcomputer to maintaine the preset S/D value. Output in pumping changed automatically in responce to the inflow rate while keeping the same venous pressure, and did not changed against the various outflow resistance under the condition of the same venous pressure.
