Abstract
An attempt to elucidate the scavenging effect against the active oxygen species on various hollow fiber membranes has been done. In this study, the scavenging effect against ·O or ·OH radical generated from hydrogen peroxide by the glow discharging or UV irradiation under the reduced pressure on the hollow fiber membranes was observed on the reactivities of the specific agents impregnated into the hollow fiber membranes. It is deduced that the ·OH is more scavenged than ·O on the hollow fiber membranes.
