Superfluorescence is a cooperative emission phenomenon that arises from an ensemble of coherently coupled excited two-level systems. Recently, superfluorescence has also been observed in solid-state systems, particularly semiconductors, attracting considerable interest in its underlying generation mechanism. In this study, we investigate the superfluorescence of biexcitons in a semiconductor quantum dot assembly. We examine the relationship between multiexciton dynamics and coherence generation, present observations of intensity and spectral fluctuations in superfluorescent pulses, and discuss the remaining challenges and future research directions.
