Abstract
A word, intelligent, is attractive concept. It is possible to be the concept to develop materials science and engineemg. Thus, we define the intelligent degree (Ih24) of new materials from human-function points. Compared with the other intelligent degree (IW and IN), we discuss the values of IW, IN and Ih24 for materials.
