We investigated the correlation between internal load variables of college rugby players during a summer training camp. A moderate correlation was found between fatigue and RPE. In cases where practice time is excessively long, the RPE data may more accurately reflect the load. HRV data showed a moderately significant correlation with sleep quality but did not correlate with subjective wellness data. This suggests the need to measure objective variables in addition to subjective ones.
