Diallel experiments were conducted in 1963-64 using nine and six varieties, respectively. The genetic analysis of grain yield and other quantitative traits were carried out by graphic and variance component analyses. For grain yield, overdominance made a major contribution and for days to silk, moisture percentage in grains at harvest, plant height and ear height, partial to complete dominance was noticed.
