Abstract
The experiment was carried out to study the morphological and histochemical changes of floral organs during the growth in male sterile rape (Brassica leapus L.). The following results were obtained : (1) The greatest difference was observed in the stage proceeding tetrad formation. Namely, in male sterile plants, pollen grain stopped the growth and degenerated at the flowering day. (2) Histochemical data (PAS and Brachet reactions) coincided with the morphological data.
