In diploid species or strains belonging to each genome constitution in Oryza, relationship between radiosensitivity and DNA content per nucleus was studied. From the results obtained, no clear relation between both of them was recognized as described by other investigators. The radiosensitivity in the genus Oryza may result from the interaction both of DNA content per nucleus and ability of recovery of DNA molecules injured by the radiation.
