Abstract

Recently, there are highly growing expectations for inspecting civil engineering structures using high resolution camera images. For better use of these high resolution images, typically there are two challenges. One is to assign these images to its location of corresponding structures and another one is to manage inspection records of structures, its specifications and environments. In this paper, we tackled these challenges by proposing 1) a superimposition user interface viewing various kinds of information seamlessly, 2) a data format for superimposition viewing and managing various related information and 3) a database for managing related data. Multiple integrated data generated by using our methods enable us to inspect structures more efficiently.
