Abstract

In this study, we developed an AR application that can visualize and easily register underground water pipes. The goal is to promote DX of water pipe infrastructure by visualizing underground water pipes and easily creating a three-dimensional water pipe MAP. The developed application enables the registration and AR display of water pipe information corresponding to the current location by using the GPS func-tion of a smartphone and the current location displayed on Google Maps. The application is a smartphone application, so the hurdle to introduce the system is kept as low as possible, and at the same time, the AR application was developed in consideration of universal design for use in the field.
