Abstract

In recent years, aging infrastructure facilities have become a serious problem in Japan. Deterioration of bridges is one such problem. In order to solve this problem, research on the detection of bridge deterioration using deflection measurement is being conducted vigorously. We are working on a high-precision deflection measurement method using images. The error caused by camera shaking is a serious problem in high-precision deflection measurement of bridges. In this paper, we propose a new camera sway compensation method that uses AI to analyze the sway data and compensates for camera sway without using a physical device, instead of the conventional camera sway compensation method that uses a physical device. We also evaluate the proposed method by applying it to deflection measurement data.
