In the construction industry, the shortage of skilled workers caused by an aging society and declining birthrate has become increasingly serious, while the social demand for maintaining aging infrastructure and responding to natural disasters remains high. Under these circumstances, advanced skill transfer methods that achieve both productivity improvement and construction quality assurance are required. The authors have previously conducted studies on skill quantification based on motion analysis; however, difficulties remained in implementing these methods in actual construction practices. This study focuses on posture stability and proposes a skill evaluation method based on a triangular center-of-gravity model, together with a posture reference presentation method using laser sensors. The proposed approach aims to redesign conventional analytical techniques from the perspective of practical implementation and training. The ap-plicability of the method to education and training processes for construction workers, as well as its poten-tial contribution to effective skill transfer, is discussed.
