In this study, the concept of efficient bridge management system focused on monitoring bridge displacements has been proposed for maintaining numerous middle length bridges in rural government of Japan. In order to monitor displacement easily, a displacement estimation method has been proposed using measured acceleration data. The applicability of the proposed method has been verified through the filed measurement using the loading vehicles. Finally, the management system has been proposed and its application scheme also has been introduced for further actual operations in local districts in the future.
