ADVANCED AND EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FACILITIES USING 360 DEGREE AND WEARABLE CAMERAS

Abstract

 To address aging infrastructure, workforce shortages, and increasingly frequent natural disasters, the construction industry is promoting i-Construction and infrastructure DX. In this study, 360 degree and wearable cameras were introduced to enhance remote site inspections, enabling more detailed and immersive visualization compared with conventional smartphone-based methods. These cameras were also applied to local government facility management, including inspections, disaster response, and public site tours, demonstrating their practicality and effectiveness.
