Abstract
Recent economic situations have caused huge increase of international air passengers in Japan. It is supposed that the demand structure has also changed in past ten years. We have developed some demand models for the international air transport policy analyses, however, longitudinal analysis for the recent demand has not been done. The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural change of the international passengers by multi-point data. First, departure airport choice model is calibrated and the structural changes are examined from a comparison with estimated parameters. Second, we develop trip generation model including accessibility variable and analyze the characteristics of the accessibility variable. Then we examine the result of these models, and it is shown that the accessibility has became significant factor for airport choice and trip generation. Finally, we discuss the future air transport policy briefly.
