Abstract
This paper introduces an interim design, fabrication and erection code for composite slab with truss-typed shear connectors. This composite slab was recently developed. A series of the tests were conducted in order to evaluating
(1) the strength of shear connector itself; (2) the ultimate strength; and, (3) the fatigue strength and durability of this composite slab under fixed loading point and moving load. Additionally the Wakihama bridge has newly constructed for test case.
