Abstract
A connectivity measure is proposed for evaluating the reliability of a deteriorated transport network. The connectivity between an origin and destination pair is defined as the probability of whether the ratio of the OD travel distance in a degraded network to that in the normal network is less than a given criterion. Approximation methods for calculating the connectivity measure and the cumulative distribution function of the travel distance of an OD pair are developed which considers a part of probable state vectors. Through numerical examples, proposed connectivity measure and its calculation method are verified.
