Abstract
The texture of falling and flowing water has its own variety of shapes. Combining river structure and this texture in a good design will only be possible with the establishment of a hydraulics derived estimation methodology. Three types of full scale experiments on falling and flowing water were carried out to accumulate basic data. The texture of falling water was classified into three categories for both free falling and slope falling water. And the texture of flowing water, into another three categories. CG (Computer Graphics) are used to visualize the results of the estimation. The practical use of the alpha channel and the texture mapping is important in the visualization.
