Abstract
In this paper, we discuss a formulation and solution approach for multilevel single allocation uncapacitated hub location problem (MSAUHLP). We present a quadratic programming formulation for the problem. We also developed an efficient heuristic algorithm using a heuristic model based on GA and TS namely M-GATS to solve the proposed model. We verified and demonstrated the applicability of our method by presenting extensive calculation results based on data given in well known dataset. Our proposed heuristic is very efficient in finding an optimal solution of a large size network (up to 200 nodes) with in a reasonable amount of calculation time.
