Abstract
Because inter-regional local bus service can reduce bus cost, it will be in service in many regions. With inter-regional local bus service, the municipalities covered by the service jointly subsidize the bus company and the amount of subsidy is allocated to the municipalities. To maintain the feasibility of this joint subsidization, the consensus over the allocation for all municipalities is necessary. However, whether widely used allocation method can contribute to consensus building among the municipalities has not been studied. This paper shows which allocation method is useful in terms of consensus building by use of cooperative game theory.
