Abstract
The purpose of the impervious wall is to prevent the outflow outside the disposal hall sewage, and the maintenance of an enough, earthquake-proof performance is required at level II earthquake. Earthquake resisting and sealing performance of sealing sheet pile were examined by numerical analysis in considering the structural anisotropy. Therefore, sealing sheet pile had same performance as iron about bending in the out-of-plane and shearing in the in-plane direction. However sealing sheet pile had extremely low performance for tension comparing with that of iron, and kept the sealing performance by partial yielding.
