Abstract
To promote the sustainable efforts of regional resource utilization, it is necessary that each local government has a mechanism and a process to review the policy in conjunction with stakeholders. In that process, regional characteristics and geographical factors in each region should be considered. For supporting the review process of concerning policy, this study investigates a method to evaluate the effects of conditions of the regional distribution centers give, focusing on farmers' direct markets as main regional distribution centers of agricultural resources.
In order to grasp the influence quantitatively, a simulation is performed by modeling the behavior of farmers and consumers incorporated with the geographic elements within the region. The results of simulation are evaluated not only with the number of users, but also with the utility of farmers and consumers and the performance of the distribution system.
