Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the estimation model of construction period in Gunma prefecture against the background of ensuring appropriate construction period and efforts to expand holiday in civil engineering works. Firstly, construction costs and construction period data used for analysis were collected and basic characteristics were grasped. Next, we examined the estimation model of construction period in Gumma Prefecture. Finally, we proposed an improved model. This model considers securing a two-day weekly holidy system and reflects the characteristics of construction.
