Abstract

 Drawings of the public works are described theoretically accurate dimensions. Allowable values are described in the final delivery standard with measurement items and specification values.On the other hand, drawings of the manufacturing industry, dimensional tolerance and geometric tolerance are described as allowable values in addition to dimensions. 3D CAD software is able to create complicated shape of 3D models. It seems that setting of tolerance about geometric characteristics of 3D models are more suited to using geometrical tolerance rather than dimensional tolerance. Geometrical tolerance could describe information more accurately.

 In this research, literature survey of 3D tolerance was conducted. This paper extracted and analyzed effects by applying geometric tolerance from viewpoints of management engineering. This paper reported the evaluation results how to solve problems of public works applying geometric tolerance.
