CONSTRUCTION AND UTILIZATION OF SPATIAL INFORMATION INFRASTRUCTURE BY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE COOPERATION

Abstract

In this paper, the spatial information infrastructure (SII) is constructed, updated, and utilized by public and private sectors. The SII is constructed based on the product specification, and is updated by using CAD data of construction completion reports. These methods are demonstrated by using spatial data in local government. The SII is utilized in road occupancy permission for exchanging and sharing lifeline data which is effective for urban disaster prevention. It is cleared that the exchange and share of lifeline data on the SII are useful for public and private sectors. The operation model is constructed for managing the SII. In this model, the mothod of business and cost burden are analyzed.
