Abstract
To clarify the corrosion rate of concrete due to acid attack, the authors carried out the in-situ tests by using concrete specimens and proposed a deterioration prediction on acid affected concrete. These tests and deterioration prediction include not only ordinary concrete (the design strength is about 24N/mm2) but also Super Quality Concrete (concrete with high strength, high durability and self-compatibility). The deterioration prediction is applicable to the environment with wet and dry reciprocal action.
