DEVELOPMENT THE TOOL TO ASSESS LONG TERM ACTION PLAN FOCUSING ON LOW CARBON TRANSPORT IN ASEAN REGION

Abstract

 The tool to simulate CO₂ emission reduction from transport sector in ASEAN by introduction of low carbon transport policies from a view point of long-term was developed. The tool is supposed to be utilized to develop original long-term action plan by public officials and researchers in ASEAN.
 Various data sets for evaluation and several policy packages and its introduction effects are stored in the tool, and then users are able to evaluate CO₂ emission reduction effect easily to select appropriate policy packages and input necessity items.
