Abstract
Kanto and Tohoku region heavy rain disaster occurred in September 2015. It caused flooding about 40km2 of Ibaraki Prefecture, Joso City and collapse of the embankment in the Kinugawa river. We analyze the spatio-temporal distribution properties of the rainfall in Kinugawa basin and evaluate relations of the estimated basin average precipitation and the number of the rain gauge.
