Abstract
Kurayashiki River is a small and shallow river through the center of Isahaya City. In order to improve the ecological system of Kurayashiki River, we analyze the habitat characteristics of Corbicula leana PRIME, as a fundamental study. To understand the present condition, a habitat distribution investigation, a bottom sediment survey and a water temperature continuous observation is executed. In addition, we analyze the influence of water temperature and river bed temperature to Corbicula leana prime with the water and river bed temperature predict model. As a consequence, the reason of the inhabit distribution, which has been disproportionated, is clarified. Moreover, it has been understood that the water temperature nearly on the river bed and the river bed temperature are changed by the solar radiation. Then, it is very important to understand the variation of water temperature and river bed temperature for inhabitation of Corbicula leana prime.
