Abstract
Continuous field observation of subterrane water isopods using borehole were performed. Many kinds of subterrane water isopds were observed in borehole. And Nipponasellus hubrichti was identified as representative species on the observation field. Ground condition and water quality were examined to clarify their habitat. Results of examination indicated that Nipponasellus hubrichti prefer to live in underflow water with lower ion density and surfacewater type temperature condition.
