Abstract
 In this research, when detecting an air blow at the slope toe of the levee, we made a survey with surface waves method to evaluate the inner structure of the levee before and after high water. Moreover, to check the soil profile, we dug the air-blow occurrence place. We have concluded that the area where shear waves velocity at low speed is saturated and subjected to pore water pressure, resulting in the occurrence of the air blow when water moves from the sand layer to the upper part of the silt layer.
