Abstract
To study the performance of seawall by over flow due to tsunami using amar blocks, experiments in a open channel flume and numerical simulation by CADMAS_SURF were carried out. The rate of flow from source was given along the calculated regions. The factors of damages of armar blocks were two types; one was negative pressures around the top of slope and another drag forces due to fast current flow. Also the three patterns of flow field; the pool, the fast current and the separated region were formed water behind the slope of bank.
