It was conducted to the administrators who work for beaches where huge tsunami caused by Nankai Trough Earthquake would descend on. 156 administrators in 24 prefectures answered to the questionnaire sheet with 15 questions. On the basis of these data, the current state of tsunami awareness of beach administrator has been discussed in this paper. From the results, it found that about 50% of the beaches does not have a tsunami evacuation facility, and that the beach administrators have not yet made hazard maps and evacuation routes.
