Abstract
The second runway of Naha Airport has been expanded since 2014. In such large-scale projects, there is concern about the influence on the surrounding environment, and periodic monitoring is necessary. In this research, we investigated the progress of construction and the influence on the surrounding environment by analyzing NDVI value and luminance temperature by using multispectral satellite observation information of Landsat 8 satellite observed before and after construction started. From the results of these studies, the effectiveness of remote sensing image information periodically observed was discussed.
