Abstract
It is examined that the existing caisson type quay wall have more front-water depth to better accommodate the larger and larger vessels. This new construction method makes it possible to cut rubble mound to increase the front-water-depth by injecting and solidifying plastic grout. This new construction method has to establish the quality verification method on the shape of improvement body and improvement strength. In order to solve these problems, the demonstration experiment of this construction method was executed before real construction. This study examined the applicability of real construction of these quality verification methods through the demonstration experiment.
